Saturday Debbie and I spent the day with a model and a photographer taking "bride/wedding" shots in all types of wonderful, scenic venues. We live on the Grand Strand between the intracoastal waterway and the beach in South Carolina. the photos were taken at marinas, on yachts, on the bluff overlooking the waterway, and in various outdoor chapels. photos were taken by the inlet in Murrells Inlet, and on the deck of a tourist boat. our bride kneeled by a cross and she listened to "secrets" from a little boy.

we had a wonderful day and got awesome shots to show our brides. we do have a problem, though, our photographer and our model did such a great job, we don't know which ones to pick.

we will take the final 8 shots and place them on foam boards to be used at the wedding show we are partcipating in Sunday August 23rd in Myrtle Beach. Come see us there. the show starts at 1pm and runs until 5 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
we hope to see you there!

Well, we got in a boat and took our handmade 7 foot shell cross out to a special place at the mouth of the inlet, where the ocean pours in. our wonderful husbands carried it on to the beach and we took sunset photos of the cross overlooking the inlet.
it was breathtaking. we can only imagine a bride and groom standing under it as they say thier vows to one another.
the water temperature was luxurious, and the sun just right. what a night.
we are so blessed.
gathering shells for this cross made the presentation that much sweeter. all the shells were local to the Myrtle Beach, Surfside, and Garden City Beaches here in South Carolina. My partner, Debbie, and i did all the gathering and the shelling.
My son, Will, made the cross from wood he gathered.
every inch of this cross was made with love. it is our gift to our brides.....and thier grooms.
